Dear Parents,

We are extremely excited that our trip to Carlton is imminent and aim to give the children as much information as possible to make sure they are feeling confident. We are very aware this is a big deal for the children after the last couple of years and many will not have stayed away from home for too long. The staff going are very experienced and will make sure the children are well cared for. It’s going to be a fantastic week!

What about sleeping arrangements?

What about sleeping arrangements?

The children will sleep in a purpose- built residential block. The block consists of 2 “wings” (boys and girls). Each wing has toilets, showers (individual cubicles) and lounge. The children will sleep in rooms of between 3 and 8. They will be encouraged to keep the rooms clean and tidy and there will be a daily room inspection!

Children will not need to take electrical items such as iPads. They will be very busy from waking up to going to bed, there will be no spare time for relaxing and playing. At the end of each day the children will be very tired and want to go to sleep at bedtime!
