Whinstone Eco Committee, made up of enthusiastic children from across the school, works together to promote sustainability through practical, hands-on projects. They meet regularly to discuss ideas, run eco-friendly initiatives, and encourage their classmates to make greener choices—such as reducing waste, saving energy, improving biodiversity, and recycling more effectively. From organising litter picks and monitoring energy use to planting flowers and creating wildlife habitats, the Eco-Schools team helps make the school a cleaner, greener, and more environmentally aware place.
